The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB) recently released its 2008 Visitors Guide, which features a section dedicated to group visits to the city.

In the guide, GTOs will find information on group tours of local landmarks, such as Independence Hall, in which the Declaration of Independence was adopted and the US Constitution was drafted and signed, as well as suggested itineraries for visits and group-friendly events listings. The guide also features a regional map of the state of Pennsylvania and a city map, both of which are cross referenced with the attractions and events pages.

In conjunction with Philadelphia USA Travel, the PCVB offers a range of discounted group packages to the city, also detailed in the guide, which include hotel accommodation as well as visits to local attractions and events, such as next year’s Independence Day celebrations on 4th July.
