The Simpsons are soon to make Universal Studios their new home

Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart and Maggie Simpson are set to become the latest attractions at Universal Studios’ theme parks in Orlando and Hollywood, with the creation of a new ride called ‘The Simpsons’.

Based on the long-running cartoon television series of the same name, the ride will see groups seated in motion-simulator vehicles in front of 80-foot film screens and propelled through a series of twists, turns and bumps as they journey through the fictional home town of the cartoon family, “Springfield”.

The attraction will feature the voices of popular characters from the show and will open to the public in spring 2008.
