Tennessee River sightseeing
Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga is launching a new sightseeing cruise to the Tennessee River Gorge, known colloquially as ‘Tennessee’s Grand Canyon’.
From the summer, groups will be able to board the ‘River Gorge Explorer’ catamaran-style vessel at the Chattanooga Pier, adjacent to the Aquarium, for a 90-minute cruise into the Gorge.
Once inside, passengers will have the opportunity to watch wildlife such as eagles and osprey from the viewing deck and learn more about the Gorge’s history and the conservation efforts of the Tennessee River Gorge Trust from an onboard naturalist.
Groups of 10 or more will qualify for discounts.
