Leeds launches Olympic Village

The addition of 450 ensuite bedrooms at Leeds Metropolitan University’s new Olympic Village, designed as an accommodation venue for the Games in 2012, will be the focus of the institution’s stand at this year’s academic venue show.

The Olympic Village will be set in 100 acres of landscaped grounds at the university’s campus near Headingley on the edge of the city. When completed in 2010, it will offer groups 450 ensuite rooms.

The university offers a further 2,200 rooms at the Headingley campus and its city centre site. Group discounts are available but vary depending upon the size of the party.

GTOs visiting the stand will also be able to enter their names into a free prize draw to win two flights to the Continent.
