The interactive shop window at The Bournville Experience

Attending the Reebok Stadium event this year is the Birmingham-based attraction, Cadbury World.

Representatives from the attraction will be advising GTOs about its newest exhibit, The Bournville Experience, which opened in October last year. The exhibit is based on the history of the Cadbury factory and the Bournville village, and explores some of the factors that enabled Cadbury to become a leading confectionery business.

Features include previously unseen artefacts, such as the original pestle and mortar used by John Cadbury to create Cadbury’s original drinking chocolate in 1824, as well as original packaging of some of Cadbury’s best known products, displayed in a replica shop front.

There is also an interactive element including the chance to design your own packaging, using computer generation, to display in the recreated shop window.

In addition, staff will be available to discuss the various group packages that include combining a trip to Cadbury World with a visit to the National Sea Life Centre, Birmingham, a ride on the Severn Valley Railway and a canal cruise between Bournville and Birmingham city centre with.

GTOs can pick up a leaflet at the Fair, which contains all the necessary information on group packages.
