The Great Days Out Fair, in February, will feature a stand dedicated to the Manchester World Sport’08 campaign.

The city will be hosting five world sporting events this year, at various venues in Manchester, and staff will be on hand to discuss the potential for group visits. The five events taking place are the UCI World Track Cycling Championships (26th – 30th March), the 9th Fina World Swimming Championships (9th – 13th April), the BUPA Great North Run and the footballing UEFA Cup Final, in May, and the Hi-Tec World Squash Championships (11th – 19th October). GTOs will be able to learn more about attending one of these events at the Fair.
