The Severn Valley Railway is launching its new ‘Group Travel Events 2008’ brochure at the upcoming Great Days Out Fair.

Group packages detailed in the brochure will include joint ventures with other nearby attractions such as Cadbury World and West Midland Safari and Leisure Park. It will also include a new package for 2008 that will allow groups to combine a journey on the Railway with a boat trip, provided by the River Severn Ferry Company.

On top of this, the attraction will be promoting its newest addition, The Engine House at Highley Station. This new Visitor and Education Centre, costing around 5 million, opens its doors for the first time in spring 2008. Visitors to the stand can learn more about the development and the collection of steam locomotives that will be housed inside it.

GTOs travel free on the vintage steam trains, which journey between Kidderminster, in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth, in Shropshire.
