Yorkshire Group Travel Ideas 2007

With its romantic and wild moorland, pretty villages, lively cities, dramatic sweeping coastline and down to earth, friendly locals, there are many fascinating aspects of Yorkshire for groups to get to know. Spanning 6,000 square miles, Yorkshire is Britain’s largest region boasting a wealth of attractions for groups to visit. Charming stately homes, historic places of worship and attractions that explore Yorkshire’s links with famous names are amongst the region’s top attractions whilst a trip along the coast or a shopping expedition in one of Yorkshire’s many cities offers a completely different experience.

Although this supplement is not an exhaustive list of everything that Yorkshire has to offer, it does aim to highlight attractions that are particularly group-friendly, for GTOs who are planning a Yorkshire-based itinerary or who would just like information on particular attractions.
