Hairspray, Broadway’s hit musical comedy, is coming to London’s Shaftesbury Theatre in October and booking has begun this month.

The show tells the story of Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair who sets out to dance her way onto TV’s most popular dance show. She finds herself transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen celebrity and struggles to get it together with the boy she loves.
