With three top selling albums to her name and a new single out, Katie Melua is planning a UK tour this autumn

Born in Georgia but brought up in Belfast and Surrey, the hugely popular singing star Katie Melua received her training at the Brit Academy in Croydon.

She was first discovered at the age of 19 by the musician and record producer Mike Batt – and working with him led to three best selling albums, Call Off the Search (2003), Piece by Piece (2005) and Pictures (2007). Between them, they sold over eight million copies.

After spending most of this year so far on tour around the world, Katie released her latest single in June, and she will be undertaking a major arena tour in the autumn.
