A crafty trip to Wales, Llandudno included

This July saw 35 ladies from the Healds Village Circle craft class in Chadderton, near Oldham, enjoy a day trip to North Wales. Group organiser Iris Last arranged the day out. “I booked a coach with Chadderton-based Swans Travel,” she says. “ I always use the company as they are local and are very good to us.”

The group began the day with a pre-booked coffee stop at Blakemere Shopping Experience in Sandiway in Cheshire. Explains Iris, “It is well worth a visit.” Then it was on to Llandudno, where nearly half the group decided to go on the Great Orme Railway whilst others walked around the town. “We travelled on to Aberhod Old Hall in Rhos on sea after this,” continues Iris. “We had an excellent evening meal here; the venue even sent me a choice of group menus to pick from before our visit. We left very pleased with our day and I would recommend the outing, which was enjoyed by everyone.”
