Alan’s group pose for a picture at Loch Lomond

A five-day trip to Scotland, based in Glasgow, was the recent destination for 49 people from the Milton Keynes National Trust Association.

GTO Alan Prockter booked the trip with West Yorkshire-based Simply Groups, staying at the Menzies Glasgow hotel. “This was super,” he says. “We had primarily come to visit the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and this was the only wet day of the trip! However, with an assortment of bin liners, plastic sacks and emergency capes, we all kept quite dry until the rain became torrential walking to the coach! The show itself was amazing and took everyone’s breath away.”

As well as the Tattoo, the group also enjoyed visits to places such as Culzean Castle and the Royal Yacht Britannia and a cruise on Loch Lomond. Alan concludes, “Simply Groups were, as always, most helpful in arranging a wonderful trip for us.”
