Bank of England Museum trip is on the money
Active Outings Co-Ordinator for the north London-based Homes Outing Programme Entertainment (H.O.P.E.) Supporters Group of Jewish Care, Elizabeth Israel, recently included an outing to the Bank of England Museum in the capital as part of her busy programme of trips.
Forty-five supporters enjoyed the trip and Elizabeth comments, “I reserved a time slot to see an excellent presentation called ‘Security by Design’, which was given by a very good guide on the evolution of the Bank of England. We learned so much and the Museum’s machines, which indicate if paper money is a forgery, fascinated the majority of the group.”
She continues, “For those who had the strength to lift it, a real gold bar, which was also on display, added to the fun. It is an outing highly recommended, in spite of the fact that no free samples were given!”
