A day out in Buckinghamshire was enjoyed by 48 members of the Bromley Conservative Club last month, organised by GTO Dennis Chantry in conjunction with Sussex-based tour operator Lifestyle Tours.

“Lifestyle Tours is a very friendly, efficient operator and I use its services often,” Dennis comments. “On this particular trip, the company organised absolutely everything including the coach, which first dropped us off at the Chiltern Brewery.”

He continues, “Here, we enjoyed a guided tour of the site, which is set out on one level and great for disabled members, and saw how its beer is made. We then enjoyed a few beer samples before our pre-booked lunch in the garden. It was all very organised and the Brewery was certainly well geared up for groups.”

The day was then rounded off with a cruise on the Grand Union Canal with riverboat operator Pitstone Wharf before home. “Everyone had a lovely day,” Dennis ends by saying.
