This August saw 37 people from CFF Holidays (Christian Friendship and Fellowship Holidays), based in the Loughborough area, enjoy an eight-day holiday to Ilfracombe in North Devon.

Says GTO Geoff Wainwright. “After receiving a tourist information booklet on Ilfracombe, I was tempted by the advert for The Ilfracombe Carlton Hotel. Our main problem is the large number of rooms required for single occupancy and I was able to negotiate an inclusive price to suit after speaking with the owner, Claire Jelfs, who was very flexible.”

During the holiday, Geoff used Paul S. Winson Coaches of Loughborough for transport to and from Devon and Filers Travel of lfracombe for his day trips. “These were two coach companies that provided us with excellent service,” comments Geoff.

The group enjoyed three day trips to differing parts of Exmoor such as Barnstaple and South Molton and Geoff concludes, “The Ilfracombe Carlton Hotel is certainly well worth a visit by other groups.”
