Southern Water's group trip to London goes with a bang

After reading about a joint package at London attractions Firepower, The Royal Military Museum in Woolwich and the Greenwich Heritage Centre in Group Travel Organiser, Ted Debaes, GTO for the Southern Water Retirement Association in Sussex decided to take the offer up with his group a few months ago.

“The package included visits to both attractions as well as a buffet lunch and a cream tea,” explains Ted. “I took 28 people in the end, booking a smaller coach through Lynns Travel of Eastbourne, which reduced the cost.”

Ted arranged the package direct with Firepower and says,“The day was well organised and included a guide who gave us a run down of the Royal Arsenal where the sites are based, with the food good and plentiful. The Heritage Centre is opposite the museum in a courtyard and showed interesting photographs of early Woolwich whilst Firepower displayed items such as tanks and canons.”

He continues, “The group found it very interesting and the outing was good value for money. We would recommend this visit to those wanting to follow a military theme.”
