Walking on the wild side at Paignton Zoo and Living Coasts

Barry Jones, group travel organiser for Stage & Scene, a social club in Cornwall, recently took 49 members of his group on a joint visit to Paignton Zoo and Living Coasts, both in Devon, using Plymouth City Coaches. “I always use the company for coach travel on day trips as the drivers know their stuff inside and out,” he comments.

Barry purchased joint tickets for both attractions directly from Paignton Zoo, where they began their day trip. Whilst here, the group saw a baby rhino and lots of other creatures such as baby camels, wolves, monkeys and birds. “It was such a treat to see the newly born baby rhinocerous and we like the large spaces here that the animals are given to roam around in,” he states. The group were also provided with food vouchers by the attraction, so they could enjoy lunch at their own leisure.

After this, the group then set off for a visit to Living Coasts, where they enjoyed a guided tour. “It was really nice to have such an in-depth tour at Living Coasts in Torquay; the whole group was engrossed!” he states. At the attraction, the group also enjoyed a cream tea before they set off home. “All in all it was a fantastic day and we will definitely be going again!”
