I was amused by a full page advert in your February issue (GTO 199). It was promoting the Royal International Air Tattoo in July as ‘the place to be this summer’, but unfortunately nowhere in the advert did it actually tell me where the ’world’s greatest airshow’ was taking place!

Any readers who had not put ‘two and two together’ and referred back to the article nearby on Tattoos, Military and Air Shows would have been none the wiser to the location (which is, in fact, RAF Fairfield in Gloucestershire).

I thought it right to bring you and your readers’ attention to a rather significant oversight!
