Clearing up matters on group rail travel

I refer to the letter from Jocelyn Williams regarding group rail travel.

I think she has possibly read the posters incorrectly as they normally stipulate the minimum number required to qualify for a group travel rate. There is generally no upper limit on a group size, though if talking into hundreds, it would be best to charter a complete train, which is indeed also possible.

I believe that any train operating company would not favour return travel at peak times and I would not recommend this. It would be a better idea to stay behind for a meal and travel later.

I suggest that she talks to the booking office staff at Sevenoaks, her planned point of departure, who will be able to point her in the right direction for booking parties.

Hope that this helps and that her planned trips go well!
