Thank you for the feature on Ticket Booking Agencies (GTO, Nov/Dec). I was not aware that there was such a large range of intermediaries. I wonder why the competition has not forced down the exorbitant commission levels in this field of the major players like Ticketmaster. It seems to me that they have a license to print money! For a ticket costing £30, we are expected to happily pay at least £3 for a service that involves a click of a mouse or a 30 second phone call.

I feel sorry for the theatres and their casts who surely deserve a greater relative amount of the price we pay for their element of the offer. Can any readers suggest the best priced booking agencies?
