In response to the letter concerning free refreshments for GTOs at attractions such as National Trust properties, I would like to point out to the writer that The National Trust is a charity.

I have given four hours a week to the Trust for 11 years for no reward save the knowledge that I am helping the preservation of this country’s wonderful heritage.
