I noted with interest the letter in the last issue of GTO (201, April) asking whether IKEA offered any incentives for groups. IKEA say they do not but I recently took a group of 25 away as part of a scheduled day trip to IKEA in Leeds with the company East Yorkshire Coaches, based in Hull.

Here we were given a ‘meet and greet’ by IKEA staff on arrival and then they handed out lunch vouchers for each member of the group to be used in the restaurant there that day.

I thought it would be useful for readers to know that at least one site does offer this service to groups and maybe this will encourage others to follow. Perhaps there is a role for some co-ordination in the group!
